Rick Fiala
When
you think of best baseball people in the St. Louis area, Rick Fiala's name is at the
top. Rick was an All-American infielder for Meramec Community College and
an All-Conference player
at SIU-Carbondale.
For the past
25 years, Rick has coached at the high school, collegiate, and professional
levels. During the 2000-01 seasons, Rick coached the River City
Rascals in the Frontier League. Rick helped guide the Jefferson
Junior College baseball team to the school's first College World Series
Tournament in 2002. Rick also led the Fenton Metro Collegiate Team to the
NABF World Series Championship in 2003.
Rick has
coached big league players such as Mark Buehrle and Cliff Politte of the
Chicago White Sox, Jay Marshall of the Oakland A's and Matt Cepicky of the Montreal Expos. Coach Fiala
makes hitting fun and easy for all ages.
